Honeymoon vs Honeystar Holidays

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Hi Travel Buddies,

Today is our wedding anniversary.  Yes, we have been through 6 good years.  We would like to dedicate the post today to remember the happy moments that we have been through especially during our travel adventures to more than 10 countries over the past 6 years.

Sometime ago, there was an article in The Sunday Times about Honeymoon vs Honeystar.  When we read this article, it stroke a chord in our hearts because we were one of the couples that had a honeystar holiday instead of honeymoon right after our wedding.

Where did we go?  We flew to Bangkok the next day after our wedding via a budget airline.  Though it was a very short 3-day honeystar holiday, it was still a sweet and memorable holiday.  We stayed in a luxurious suite of a size as big as you can imagine.  We paid a price that was ridiculously low as it was during the soft launch period of a new 5-star hotel.  We had lots of fun as Bangkok is really a shopping and food paradise.

So our advice to couples who by any reasons cannot go to your dream honeymoon yet, do not feel despair.  There are still many budget destinations that you can enjoy as much as you would be in a honeymoon.  Some great destinations are Taiwan, Hong Kong, Tioman, Krabi and many other Southeast Asia destinations to consider.  Do a search within our blog may give you more ideas 🙂

Happy Honeystar Holidays!

Crocs Expo Sale Dec 2010

Posted by: | Comments (0)

Hi Travel Buddies,

Good news to all Crocs lovers.  The next Crocs Expo Sale will start on 17th December, Friday.

17 Dec Friday: 9am to 1pm (Private Sale) 1pm to 8pm (Public Sale)
18 Dec Saturday: 10am to 8pm
19 Dec Sunday: 10am to 6pm
Venue: Singapore Expo Hall 5A

Crocs has been our best travel companion.  Ever since we own our very first pair of crocs 2 years ago (the white one below), crocs has become one of our essential travel wear in ALL our trips.

Why we love Crocs so much?

It is comfortable and light.  Maintenance is easy, you can just rinse with water and a little soap to wash off the dirt easily, crocs dry up easily after wash and ready to wear again after a short air time.
During summer, we wear it without worrying of getting sweaty and smelly feet because of its extremely good ventilation.  We wear it to waterfalls and hot springs without worrying that our shoes will get wet.
During winter, if you didn’t get those winter designs, you can still wear your summer designs by wearing one layer of wool socks before your Crocs and you still enjoy the same comfy feeling.  That was how we did it during our autumn/winter holidays in Beijing when we worn it and made it to the Great Wall of China. 😛

From then on, we have continued to add on to our Crocs collection from the past Expo sales.
See our proud collections below, ranging from S$20 to S$35 only.
