Hi Travel Buddies,

Brought to you by mytravelbuddiesclub.com

We are just into the second week of 2012 and we have read so much about top destinations 2012 from almost every travel authority, starting from Lonely Planet, ST Life Travel and there was a travel article on recommendations on places to travel for the next 12 months on Weekend Today yesterday.

Hi Travel Buddies,

We are quite excited to hear that Japan is going to offer 10,000 free flights to foreigners to Japan next year!

Most of you are aware that the tourism business in Japan is badly hit ever since the 9.0 earthquake and tsunami happened on Mar 11.  So this aggressive move aims to revive the tourism industry.

Subject to government budget approval, The Japan Tourism Agency said the programme can start as early as April 2012.  They hope that the selected 10,000 sponsored travellers can share their positive experiences with the rest of the world and thus, bring in more tourists.

How to apply?

Popular Cherry Blossoms Places

Posted by: | Comments (2)

Hi Travel Buddies,

If you are planning to travel to Japan during the coming cherry blossoms season, be sure you know where are the popular viewing spots for that picture perfect shot.

One of our top picks is Matsumae Park in Hokkaido where there are 250 different kinds of cherry trees in the park, blooming one after another for around one month.  So if you are planning to a trip to Hokkaido in May, make sure you make a point to visit this park.
